Website Coordinator

Temporary - Remote

Job Title: Part-Time Temporary Website Coordinator

Duration: 1 Month (June 2024)

Salary $150   

1.5 hours weekly  

(This is a contract position, a 1099 is required)

Job Summary:

Empowering Women Hawaii is seeking a diligent and tech-savvy Temporary Website Coordinator to ensure our website is up-to-date and engaging in the lead-up to our SistahGurl True Woman Summit in Sept. The ideal candidate will be responsible for updating content and managing overall site functionality.

Key Responsibilities:

                  1.             Content Management:

                  •               Update or import event details, schedules, and announcements as needed.

                  •               Ensure all content is accurate, current, and aligned with the event’s branding and messaging.

                  2.             User Engagement:

                  •               Work with Empowering Women Hawaii’s Administrative Director to facilitate online registration processes and troubleshoot any user issues.

                  3.             Website Maintenance:

                  •               Perform regular checks to ensure all links, forms, and functionalities are working correctly.

                  4.             SEO and Analytics:

                  •               Monitor website analytics and provide regular reports on user engagement and traffic.

                  •               Suggest and implement improvements based on data insights to enhance user experience.

Qualifications:

                  •               Proven experience in website management and content creation.

                  •               Familiarity with website platforms such as WordPress, Wix, or similar CMS.

                  •               Basic knowledge of HTML/CSS is a plus.

                  •               Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

                  •               Excellent communication skills and ability to work independently.

                  •               Experience with SEO and web analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics).

Additional Information:

                  •               This is a remote position with flexible working hours, though some availability may be required for urgent updates.

                  •               Compensation for the position has been set.

Social Media Content Manager

Temporary - Remote

Job Title: Temporary Social Media Content Manager

Duration: 3 Months (June, July, August 2024)

Salary $150 monthly

1.5 hours weekly / 6 hours monthly

(This is a contract position, a 1099 is required)

Job Summary:

Empowering Women Hawaii is seeking a creative and proactive Temporary Social Media Content Manager to manage our social media presence in the lead-up to our SistahGurl True Woman Summit in Sept. The ideal candidate will be responsible for creating, scheduling, and engaging with content across various social media platforms for the SistahGurl True Woman Summit to maximize event awareness and engagement.

 

Key Responsibilities:

            1.  Content Creation:

                  •               Follow the content calendar already created for social media posts.

                  •               Create engaging, high-quality content (including text, images, videos, and graphics) tailored to each platform.

                  •               Write compelling captions and use appropriate hashtags to increase visibility.

           2.             Social Media Management:

                  •               Schedule and publish posts across platforms such as Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, LinkedIn, and others.

                  •               Monitor social media channels for engagement and respond to comments, messages, and inquiries promptly.

                  •               Track and analyze social media metrics to measure the success of campaigns and adjust strategies accordingly.

           3.             Campaign Development:

                  •            Plan and execute social media campaigns to promote the event, including contests, countdowns, and interactive content.

                  •               Collaborate with Empowering Women Hawaii’s Administrative Director to ensure cohesive messaging and branding.

           4.             Community Engagement:

                  •               Build and nurture a community around the event by engaging with followers and encouraging user-generated content.

                  •               Identify and engage with influencers and key stakeholders to amplify the event’s reach.

                  •               Facilitate and moderate discussions and interactions related to the event.

                  5.             Reporting and Analysis:

                  •               Provide regular reports on social media performance, including key metrics and insights.

                  •               Use data to inform and refine content strategies.

                  •               Stay up-to-date with social media trends and best practices to continuously improve efforts.

Qualifications:

                  •               Proven experience in social media management and content creation.

                  •               Proficiency in social media platforms and tools such as Hootsuite, Buffer, or similar.

                  •               Strong writing, editing, and communication skills.

                  •               Ability to create visually appealing content using design tools like Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar.

                  •               Excellent organizational and time management skills.

                  •               Ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks simultaneously.

                  •               Knowledge of social media analytics and reporting.

                  •               This is a remote position with flexible working hours, though some availability may be required for real-time engagement.
